Sunny Day Food

It's too hot for anything cooked, but I can't live off ice cream in this sunshine!

What's your go to food on such lovely days?

Is ice cream acceptable for 3 meals a day, or do I really have to adult and be sensible?!

I think ice cream is totally acceptable

Hot weather doesn’t make me feel as hungry. I always like the idea of salad. I mean you can do so much with it…but eat it gracefully

I did think about salad but it takes so long to prepare! Well, it does when I make it!

Cold tuna pasta, watermelon, fresh pineapple and yogurts are things I enjoy in the hot weather. I also make alot of smoothies.

Some lovely suggestions! Going to do something with halloumi, olives and baby pepperdews I think, I made some black pepper croutons in the week so need to use them up too!

We like parboiling new potatoes, smashing them with a glass and topping with chopped garlic, mixed herbs, and grated parmesan and then baking served with some kind of griddled meat.

Any bbq food is good on a sunny day, or a stir fry, or steak and wedges with grilled tomato.

Fish and New potatoes and corn on the cob.

Ice cream is perfectly acceptable at all times, but can't beat a salad nicoise or chicken caesar salad in the sun, ideally with a cold glass of white wine or two!
