Gentlemën, Ladiës, Binariës and Whatevëries...

Are you a "Serial Returner"? That established term which defines a fashionista or shopper who promptly returns nearly everything that they purchase.

Do you indulge in retail therapy and savour the monent, only to change your mind much later on? Are you always fickle, impulsive, fussy, undecided...?

Are you a 'take back queen' ?

It Didn't Fit! / I Didn't Like The Colour!

I had this very issue last weekend,

I tried to tell her but ohhh no she wouldn't listen, then she got up turned on the light, and she said, I don't like Gingers and she threw me out,

It’s the cheeky buggers that wear it on a whole night out, then try and return it all dirty, stained and smelly that are the real blaggers. Rife around Christmas (and parties) I hear ..

I think they call that type of fraud "Wardrobing".

i never really buy things for myself.. but when i do, i always get it in sizes bigger so i know it'll fit, and just deal with looking frumpy but feeling comfy.

I buy most of my stuff on line

Sometimes I'm lucky sometimes I'm not... I just ordered 3 pairs of shoes which all fit.. Yaayy!!

I also bought some carvela shoes from the charity shop this morning... I was a bit puzzled to see they had a sign talking about their return policy.. I mean who would return something to a charity shop?!?

Nope I rarely order online from shops, mainly ebay bargains which go to the charity shop if I don't like it, which is not often

This is something I really need to work on . I buy so much online and even if they don’t look good or fit I can’t be bothered with the hassle of sending it back normally I would give to friends/charity shops but with the price increases i real should make a effort ..

Nope. I don't think I've ever returned clothes. I buy so rarely and always try on in the shop.

I did buy two pairs of trousers yesterday and got stuck in a long queue as two ladies in front were returning things they'd bought online. One had loads

If only there was somewhere that people could try stuff on before they buy it.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I rarely return anything (I think two items in 45 years).

I don't like buying things online because of the colour and fit (tricky when you're short and dumpy) issues.

I have, I really have. Somehow, it has the perverse effect of me getting wider and shorter.

Is there an opposite to this?

I really should take stuff back but it always ends up sitting in my wardrobe unused for ages until I have a clear out and pop it in a charity bag or something

Would the opposite be "Serial Keeper/Charity Shop Benefactor"?
