It’s doesn’t feel like it….

It should be the last game of the season…

It should be wall to wall cheesy stuff on itv and bbc1 pre game….

It should be 3pm kick off

So….. what else is just wrong on all levels….

I agree Op too! It should be totally the end of season and that "oh no not fucking cricket" for the next few months ringing in your head.

We can't even have the World Cup to save us cos that's in December - "W.T.F??????"

Hopefully, Liverpool will win? No, I'm Not a fan. Think Klopp is a good coach though....

Totally agree. Should always be the last game of the season, and a 3pm kick off. Don't like the semi finals at Wembley either.

At one point I remember discussions about a potential half time show like the Superbowl.

I can think of nothing worse than being 2 goals down and having to sit through Ed Sheeran.

Put a tenner on Liverpool to win. With Bet365 you get an early payout if they go 2 up. If that should happen I’ll have another bet in the game.

For this neutral football supporter, it makes the game interesting.

I do recall when it was an all day event building up to a 3pm kick off. Got a few beers and some munchies so looking forward to kick off.

As a non leaguer I love the FA cup.

But a big 4 final always feels a let down. I love an underdog.

I don't really care about these two without putting bets on them.

I also hate the fake romance the BBC pretend to have with it. They big up the romance each round... Then show man utd whatever.

Yesterday's game, I think we created the better chances, poor finishing and bad decisions by a few of the players cost us goals.

Definitely some names going out the door. Rebuild, come back stronger.

Just hope the new owners going about it the right way.

Lukaku........ I didn't think he was a PL player first time round. I remain unconvinced. Different game in Italy, and Milan supported him up front and played to his strengths. We don't seem to do that, so they'll never get the best out of him. Seems daft to pay a that money and not enable him to play his game....

With a cracking view

Take us back to how it used to be !

All the build up to a 3pm kick off, including the helicopter shots of the team buses leaving the hotel.

A replay if the first game is drawn.

Introduce the penalty shootout before the replay, though that would mean the shootout winners park the bus, whilst the losers try their best to win the game.

And the last game of the season ...

it was a game of inches and 1pc more quality on the touch or apss and you could have won ... Although I'm not sure your shape looked great.

Very good game for the neutral. For once, worthy of the team in it.

Agree on Lukaku. He's not quite good enough to build a team around imo, but he does need to be in a certain type of team to be effective.

If I were a Chelsea fan, I'd be pleased my team was so close to matching Liverpool RM etc despite everything.

Chelsea as a squad deserve praise for how they have gotten on with things post Abramovich ceding control, takes a certain spirit and respect for that..

They'll come back stronger after a bit of a clear out..

I keep reading that we're interested in xyz midfielders.

I'm guessing no one's noticed pretty much our entire first team defence are fecking off at the end of the season.

It's certainly been a topsy turvy season for sure. Credit to the players and manager for keeping the club fighting for the big prizes.

Winston

Lukaku is off too I reckon, Barkley and others too yes..

The game is cyclical, we went through the shit times after the first division ended..

Man u are in the doldrums as we speak and need rebuilt, but they too will come back..

Still the best league in the world despite its issues..

We're all armchair managers eh?

Winston "

I would agree on the chances, we had more but some of yours were 'ah shit fuck, phew' moments..

In a Belgium shirt he's outstanding, ok he's got De Bruyne and other quality players who feed him but he's just never delivered in the prem at all..

Oh yes of course lol ..

But sod that, for the rewards are great potentially the pressure and the spotlight must be horrible..

Felt like cup final day in town last night. All the bars packed with groups of women, hardly any guys out. My assumption is the guys were all at home or down the local watching the game.

. I don’t fully agree that he hasn’t delivered in the Premier League. In a game now obsessed with stats I thought I would give some out.He recently turned 29 years of age and has scored 121 Premiership goals which buts him 19th on the all time list not very impressive I agree but in 10th place sits Michael Owen on 150 goals. I feel if Lukaku stays in the Premiership another 3 years can match Owen’s record.A lot of those goals came at Everton where they played to his strengths and where the club has less expectations. As a Man Utd fan in his first season for us under Mourinho we played to his strengths but after Mourinho left he didn’t fit with Ole vision and was moved on.Perhaps he is at his best at a club with less expectations or if at a big club then that club need to play to his strengths set the team up around so to speak.

. Lukaku is Chelsea’s record buy and to my way of thinking to get the best out of him you either change the formation or put players around him that will play to his strengths. However I accept that football has changed and it may not have been the Chelsea manager that wanted Lukaku but perhaps a technical director , director of football , recruitment department but I believe the manager still has the final say if a player is signed but with Chelsea under Roman things were pretty much what he wanted

"Even with my bias and dissapointment, what a great game and great advert for the FA Cup.

Well played both teams, a shame there had to be one winner.

We're all armchair managers eh?

Winston

I would agree on the chances, we had more but some of yours were 'ah shit fuck, phew' moments..

In a Belgium shirt he's outstanding, ok he's got De Bruyne and other quality players who feed him but he's just never delivered in the prem at all..

Oh yes of course lol ..

But sod that, for the rewards are great potentially the pressure and the spotlight must be horrible..

Such a shame we sold De Bruyne.

And Salah.

Whoever in charge of buying and selling of players at the Bridge needs to give their head a wobble.

Winston

Is that Salah bloke any good?

I think we got rid of him to buy Winston Bogarde.

Winston (not Bogarde)

Dirk might have been better..

I think Dirk would have got more game time. And not be content to sit in the stiffs for 2 years on £30k a week.

Me neither.
