Should I pout for the camera?

Are you any good at taking a selfie?

The way I see it you either are or you’re not. There’s little in between.

I look like I’ve clicked the camera as I’m searching for something on eBay and the price has stupidly high postage. I’ve never been good with posing for a photo when someone shouts ‘say cheese!’ I feel awkward as I don’t know what my resting smiling face is., and I don’t smoulder

But I should have a good face picture to send, one that actually flatters me.

Anyway, hints and tips are welcome from all those with hot face pictures showing. Please?

I think I’m good at taking selfies although a few of my partners say I’m not because of the angels I take them from and that I’m much nicer in person etc.

I hate any pics with my face in but selfies just really weird me out (I might be happy to post 1 or 2 out if 50 pics taken)... Not as much as pouting in them though, I don't really get it

That’s it right here. It’s the ‘selfie’. Holding a phone at arms length and turning around, camera up and down changing angles like your trying to get a signal. Looking at the screen instead of the camera lense so your eyes look wonky.

I don’t know how some get them to look so sexy or natural.

I think I am the most unphotogenic person ever most selfies just look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards that was electrified.

I have to take about 20 to get even one that is anyway okay. Even my family say how unphotogenic I am .

I agree. If I don’t know they take it or just snap it quickly before I feel awkward it’s fine.

Looking away from camera (with head slightly turned in the direction) can be effective. It's less of a "look at me" compared to looking at the camera directly and more natural.
