Love them, and love sparklers too.

However, I can't be arsed to go out in the cold to walk a 4-mile round trip to attend the local display on my own.

I would if the dog could have come with me, however, he would be startled by the noise and sound.

totally agree. I do like watching fireworks....and I think there are plenty of organized displays so would happily see fireworks for sale to the general public banned

But then again a box of fireworks in the hands of a responsible parent is a different matter entirely.

I have 3 boxes to set off, with the family round for a bit of supper and a little drink does that make me an idiot??

we're going to Alton towers tomorrow to see their display

id sooner pay to go somewhere than buy them, Alton Towers do a slightly better job than me lol

I think they should be banned for general sale. Sick to death of them hitting the house/ going off at ridiculous hours. I know a lot of people that have been hit by fireworks set off in other people's gardens.
