Hi All,

Seeking for some recommendations here.

Used to be caught up on the laptop and mobile world but now I've been out of the laptop geek game for a while now (had a dell 15' inspiron laptop from when I was in university, but that's ruined due to a recent fire in the house..).

I've never been a fan of tablets but now I do actually see the use for them and I've now also seen 2 in 1 convertible laptops becoming more popular!

My requirements are to essentially have a device which I can use as a primary note taking device with stylus (handwritten notes transformed into digital). Other requirements relate to browsing Internet, decent storage space for pics, general email, office 365, cast streams/ apps from phone and ofc use fab!

So I ask you Fab geeks Which device would be my best option here and any models you'd recommend?

Any help here would be much appreciated as currently I'm using my work laptop... Don't worry all fab activity is on my phone)

(apologies for the long arse post)

Happy fabbing

Worthing

I use both, laptop for day to day work connected to monitor and ipad (older second hand model) for general news, surfing, watching youtube in bed. Don't pay too much as only gaming laptops should be expensive. Choose a model and read online reviews. Also have a desktop pc but that's for casual gaming and video work.

"Any specific one? "

The Microsoft surface is the perfect tablet for me, it is basically a full laptop from a performance point of view but with detachable keyboard to you can use it as a super powerful tablet too.

Thank you for the suggestions. As I own android devices already, I'm aiming towards other android or Microsoft operating systems. Surface sounds good, question is which one as I've seem many in the lineup. I'll do some research and see if they tick my boxes. If I have any other questions, I'll post here. Thanks again.
