Whether losing weight, just keeping fit, training for an event/competition or sport.

How did it go?

Good, bad, indifferent, it's all

work in the bank.

Felt good this week, bench was particularly strong, 3 sets of 2 at 172.5kg on heavy day, speed work 8x3 at 130kg was flying.

Debauchery

Just back from injury, but managed to return at a decent strength. It’s a slow process, but I’m hoping a ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ philosophy will prevent injury. Constantly thinking of changing gyms now though, mine is lacking equipment and a PureGym has recently opened up near me so I can go when It suits my shifts

That's some good numbers.

I can tell if it's been a good week in the gym by looking at my hands on a Friday!

Good week for me, nothing particularly heavy (though deadlift has gone back to 150 for the first time since January)- on track to have lifted 95,000kg this week, aiming for 100k before the end of June.

PureGym is great if you go outside of busy hours!

Smashing my cardio targets and upped the weights. Definitely getting good results lately

This. The gyms themselves are clean and well kitted out. Can get a bit busy at peak hours but even when quieter there is always enough life about it if that makes sense.

Great morning this morning, finished my 4th week of my current block by lifting my PB’s on deadlift and squat, with bench to come on Sunday.

Happy Keyser.

Had a cracking week fitness wise. Hit a new PB on the squat rack then saw some nice losses on the scales. Back to being in a deficit and really focusing on nutrition

Yeah, going to try and keep focusing on the positives so, I've had a good week too.

First week of a new strength block - no pushing the numbers but all felt good. Olympic Weightlifting moving really well this week too; I think I might even like the snatch now!

"Anyone have a programme for light weights high reps ? "

How light and what are you looking to achieve?

I’ve had an absolute nightmare and not been once, I did put the shorts on one morning but then made the mistake of “I’ll just finish this episode” Netflix

Solid but nothing amazing. Although we got a new flat bench which made me realise how rubbish my old one was. Bench PB coming. Maybe...

That was Hades by the way

I'm hoping later this year to be in a position to start working out again. I'll be picking your brains Monkey I need to gain weight and mass and not lose calories, I find it incredibly difficult to keep my weight on so if you have any ideas....

North West

I had a guy tell me I'd done more than he can do on the lat pulldowns, so I'm calling that a success

I did a quick uphill push this afternoon - a mile in just under 15mins and would have been quicker without my walking amigos dawdling along. No wheelchair basketball this week unfortunately but should be on the Parkrun tomorrow and might do a 10k push on Sunday

Been training hard all week, made some good numbers on lifts. Very successful.
