Mid life crisis

So I may be having a mid life crisis or a delayed reaction to turning 40.

But i have plans to get the top of my ear (I'm sure it has a technical name) pierced and get a tattoo.

But where to get the tattoo?? It's a about 2inches (that's actual 2 inches guys) I did want the bottom of my back until my friend informed me this was know as a 'tramp stamp'. So you know, still an option.

Also, I feel these things should come in 3's but no ideas as to what else I can do???

Tattoo placement is best discussed with your artist and will depend on the design, whether you want it visible or not and in some cases your pain threshold, as certain spots are a hell of a lot more painful than others. Fine line work will also blur and/or blow out if put in the wrong place.

As for the 3rd?

Why not get pierced somewhere else?

Go for the piercing, make sure you select the one you want as they do a few upper or inner ear ones.

I have the inner ear Daith piercing myself.

Tattoo why not inside of your wrist if it's just a small one?

You'll be able to see it and can be covered if need be.

Inside or outside? Neither is that painful.

Places like ankles, feet, behind the ear, elbows, knees and especially your sternum......can be pretty stingy.

If it's only small it'll be less of an issue as you're probably looking at less than an hour.

An all day sitting can leave you feeling drained, and sometimes pretty battered too.

I got a hand poke tattoo on my right upper arm. Didn't hurt a bit ...and I'm cried like a bitch using an eplilator...so I don't have a high pain threshold

Just as well I can't give birth

I think mid way on the upper part of the body. On your side, it’s a good place that only you or those very close to you will see it?

Piercing sounds good.

Why not book something adventitious and unique that you normally wouldn’t, for a crazy third??

It's a good starting point and doesn't hurt

No your back is so much sorer.

I call mine a slugs tag and wear it with pride. Wrist is a better option as easier to hide if you get bored in years to come. What about a completely new hair style, cut and colour.

I am getting a tattoo at the top of my forearm on the inside.

Also a tramp stamp is something from the 90s. You don't need to worry about that stigma now

I know a couple of people that have had their wrists done, they said it wasn’t as bad as they thought, as not on bone. But what about forearm then? But again, depends on what you’re after.

Midlife crises no 1 - worked a summer season in Malia was 2004 just broke up with a boyfriend of 3 years and off I went

Mid life crisis no 2 - worked a ski season in Serre Chevalier after breaking up with the man I thought I was going to marry! been single since never letting anyone have that hold over me again... so of i went skiing and shagging

Mid life crisis no 3 - brought an Audi TT, that was fun

Not had any for a while I do feel I am due one.... might bugger off to live somewhere cheaper...

Mine was rather stereotypical, left me ex husband and got myself a younger model.

Plan to have a tattoo, but recent illness put me off needles for a little while.

Third I haven't thought of either. Will look at this thread for ideas
