Breaking News that 6ft long rat eating snakes are breeding sustainablly in the UK in the wild. They were brought to a Welsh zoo and escaped into the wild. These buggers can grow up to 6ft long and the sooner they are all rounded up the better .. Campers in North Wales Beware. .

Apparently they'll be eaten by buzzards, badgers and stoats.

So all good.

You only have to worry when the snakes start eating sheep.

They've had trackers fitted so they can be located. They'll be fine apparently as long as they can hibernate.

Catch em up and bring them down here Tom.

Successive mild winters have resulted in an explosion of the rat population, they’d be doing a good job

They used to be native to the british isles but died out at the end of the last ice age. They are non venomous and mostly eat vermin. They also dont get very big here as it's slightly too cold for them. Fear not Tom.

Rats will never be in short supply, they literally breed like rats. And no they wont. They cant chew, so they have to swallow their prey whole, which severely limits them to smaller prey. But as I said previously, it's just too cold for them in the UK

Tough choice, they say that you're never more than 5foot away from a rat so do you want to be less than 5ft away from a rat or a snake?

There used to exist rat like / rodent that was 450 pounds in weight and about 8-9feet long. It’s back legs were on oversized that they believed it would sit / stand to eat as well. It had 9” front teeth with biting power more than a lion.

Crazy

Nah we need them in our ecosystem, in our climate they would rarely reach past 4ft and are harmless.

I like that they have been found in london as well though, more food is available there than in wales
