There is a truth and proof in the very put in . When somebody does want to on a wavelength they will find a way to text/chat/message and otherwise.

When nit. There is silence.

Oh they opened it and read it. But I am waiting for a reply.

dependent on one’s mood, volume of messages rec’d, message context, etc...

find simpler to just ignore the messages that ask silly questions to which they already have an answer to, had they bothered to read profile...

some peeps make more effort than others in their messaging, these I tend to make time to answer as opposed to the simple Hi, winks, etc.

Maybe a 3 point step of rule with manners to be applied to responses, declines, and No's. In messaging..

Like an old school dogging etiquette's..

1) when headlights are flashed, your invited.

2) come close to the car, look ,wank, but do not touch ever.

3) when winked at and given the full (green light ) all systems go go.

Please do add to this, it is very basic and brief..

I am sure that for most people will depend on the message. Some will just delete, some delete and block some answer with a polite no and some will encourage further conversation. Context plays a part. Not all cold callers sell double glazing and even then someone may be looking for just that at the time
