Disclaimer: I have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about yet, but:

Set some money aside to "buy the dip", as they say, but seeing BTC plummet even further today has got me rethinking. Anyone buying right now, or is it better to wait?

I'm looking at more day trading strategies. I don't think I'd have the patience to hold

Don't trade crypto then. Trade something safer.

I don't know what I'm talking about either but crypto seems like smoke and mirrors to me.

Fiat currencies are backed by nothing except guns and power. If you doubt crypto get gold or silver. All fiat goes to zero if you wait long enough

I really don't know very much about it but I think that bitcoin will come back up and be worth for more than it is now in the long-term future.

I think it's really hard to know when the bottom of the dip is, and time it right to buy there, so I think it could be a good time to buy.

Check out luna, the bottom has totally fallen out of it in the last few days especially today.

Luna got attacked by Blackrock/ Citadel. They borrowed 1B in BTC and traded it for UST. They then sold all of the UST. Blackrock are the ones who will own everything eventually...you know, you will own nothing and be happy...those guys

Total market manipulation here. Thank god I sold my luna last week at £71. There were rumours of this coming for few weeks. Once luna is pegged again should hopefully go back up

But what are you buying actually? Other asset classes like stocks, bonds, gilts, property have some intrinsic value. Crypto does not, and are essentially a Ponzi scheme, relying on trust that more people buy-in. That's not to say that you won't make gains on your investment, but just be mindful of the risk.

With all of the money printing going on everything is now a giant bubble. It's gonna pop. Hard assets will be useful but any form of fiat including bonds will be inflated away into nothing Weimar Republic/ Venezuela/ Zimbabwe style. There's a good chance that the Yuan will be the new reserve currency or it might be bitcoin which is backed by proof of work and the world's most powerful computer network or it could even be gold. I don't know, it's a hunch based upon maths and history. They'll keep the party going as long as they can but we can all feel what is coming.

I bought a bit off the advise of a guy in a hot tub. I had a small bit of money laying around doing nothing. It was pretty cheap back then. Anyway I've pretty much forgot about it. My plan is simply to see where it's at in 10 years time. I don't understand it, my life is busy so I'll leave all the trading to those with an intrest in it.

It's unregulated so as long as you don't mind losing all your money, go for it.

be sure what your actually buying i guess

is it legal tender

could it be banned and no refunds

could the company your buying from just go bankrupt overnight

is it worth it ? i.e are you going to risk a few hundred just to make a few hundred.

ive a couple of grands worth of shares with a huge company that continue to rise yearly and steadily...less risk for me and pretty much zero stress

Crypto isnt dead, but us seasoned traders saw this coming and sold.

Ive traded in crypto for 9 years and been mining for 3 years also do bi weekly seminars. for the first time in 9 years i have zero crypto currency, I sold every asset just holding my NFT's & metaland.

Is today the day to buy? Maybe but i wont be i think another 20ish% fall before ill buy but i most definitely will be.

LUNA was a fall coin as is STABLE (pump and dump) luna was a very very slow coin which lead to unstability which in turn was its down fall. Also coinbase shit platform that always a red flag imo.

I'm waiting to buy into a project that should go live in May or June.

Dollar cost averaging is an easy strategy especially if you start buying in after a big dip.

Don't do trading because everything becomes a taxable event and capital gains tax will take a large chunk of your profits.

do some research on capital gains tax so you don't have a big tax bill once you've made some money.

if you want a passive income have a look at stakingrewards. com or look at staking pools.

Never invest in something you don't understand.

I did but do them at a local health club/gym near me. Id never recommend what too buy as its always a risk lovely.

However NFT's are a good road to spur off too... but do your research read read and read then make what you want of it. Coins are by no means dead but use this time to read in depth, watch impartial youtube vids ect. But remember if someone is pushy into buying a sertain project then its a red flag. Ive seen this fall since nov time so have slowly been selling up to get the best from each project.

This crash was predicted feb/march but with the release of stable slow coins many inc myself jumped on, then 'newbies' and inexperienced (who say these less volitile coin as a wise move) pumped it which lead to the experienced 'dumping' it and we did well.

You want established coins that follow the larger coins (btc/eth) ect, as a tip solana COULD be a good move (im not saying invest) but its a 'safer' move and low atm.

You may have some success riding the crypto market, but be careful. It's hard to see how any asset class with no underlying value surviving indefinitely.
