It's pretty damn important as, like others it has everything on it, but my watch now can cover payments, texts, calls, WhatsApp, diary - admittedly basic info - so I can get by without the phone for a bit

BRIDPORT

I’ve become used to having a mobile phone but could manage without.

The safety aspect is very useful, I work alone most of the time and very often in unpopulated areas, so being able to summon help should I need it is reassuring.

Most other aspects I could get by without, it is considerably more convenient with it though for work related apps.

And of course, most importantly, it would greatly curtail my use of Fab.

Burnleyish (She/They)

It pretty much controls my life. Being autistic and having adhd, it means I have many tools on my phone to help... If I lost my phone my life would descend into even more chaos

I don’t think I could cope without mine - it has everything on it, appointments, reminders, medical stuff & Fab!!

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

Only rarely use it,

Last incoming call 4.5.22

Last incoming text 2.5.22

Last outgoing call 4.5.22

Last outgoing text 3.5.22

Handy for emergency calls though

If I didn’t have my phone I’d go out of my mind through boredom when it’s quiet at work, so I’d say it’s essential!!!

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

Before I had one, I couldn't imagine why people made a big deal about owning a mobile phone. Then I made do with a simple "calls and texts only" phone for a good few years.

After I got a smart phone, it's become such an essential tool, I'd probably rather loose a toe than my mobile.

Calendar, maps, google searches, access to banks, boarding passes, instant translations, a camera, WhatsApp, Fab! even the occasional phone call. There's no turning back the clock on access to all that.
