Sorry but I don't get how this is a thing? I am a "professional" too and I am using the common sense method of not showing my face...

Frankly if anyone at work recognised me from my butt alone then we'd have bigger problems

Some jobs could result in corruption and attempts to coerce people in to trafficking goods in order for them not to lose their jobs.

Nah from that angle my face looks chubbier and older than it does in real life tbh. I was going to retake the pic at first but then thought it's probably for the best

its a no straight up from us then, we all dont want people to see us on here, but we live with the risk and if people from our line of business see us, so what consenting adults etc

During my last security clearance I told them I was on here with with face pics, they chuckled and said they have seen far worse

Guess it depends on the job... And their code of conduct.

If it's a sackable offence, fair enough.

But I don't think the majority of employers have much say over people's private lives.

I think most companies have clauses on actions that could bring them into "disrepute", but then fail to outline what those actions could actually be

I too don’t have face pics openly available because of my profession. So many people find that a big issue as if I’m trying to hide something, but all I’m trying to do is keep my job. Fab and worklife should be kept separate. Of course I have no problem sending a face pic if I’m actively messaging with someone here as I realise there has to be an attraction too in most cases.

It's not just face pics though. Some people don't upload ANY at all and say it's due to their job but then expect you to carry on a conversation with and/or agree to meet up with an absolute shadow. Which is especially wild considering they can see all of your pics

100% agree with how easy accessble photo shop is these days there is no exuse for not have pics at all

Dosent need to be full face pics but at least have something

Faces are easy cropped out or blurry

Or drawn over

I work in a public facing job, if I were to be recognised then it could cause a lot of trouble for me.

I still have pictures up.

I often think that it’s an excuse that people use because they don’t want a significant other to recognise tattoos or backgrounds.

I’m sure that there are those that do have jobs that preclude posting pictures but absolutely not in the volume that claim it

I can totally understand why people don't have face pics public, mine aren't .

However everyone can have a pic of something ,people at work won't recognise your arse or you in a suit with no head .

I wouldn't interact with those profiles,we all want things kept private .

Depends how professional. A friend of mine was a diplomat and they’d never be allowed to be on here

Dated a teacher too and she wouldn’t. She even had to have fake social media makes so students couldn’t track her down

Try not to judge others.

I don't even bother looking at the profile if a silhouette messages me. Instant delete.

I work in a very public facing job & have very unique tattoos but I manage to put pictures up, so I always think it's a cop out when I see people say this.

Crop and blur tools were invented for a reason

Like someone above said, the number of people on here who actually have sensitive jobs vs the number of people who claim that as an excuse is inversely proportional. In any case I wasn't talking about face pics, just no pics at all. Even just a torso is better than nothing

There are certain jobs where your presence on here could open up risk, such as those who work in national security, defence, diplomacy, ect. However if you work in a job like that one would question if you were the right person for that job being on here (especially depending on grade or sensitivity of your role). Unfortunately certain jobs in these fields are more than just jobs and you have responsibilities to professional conduct that does affect how you conduct your personal life. If you want that sort of freedom in your personal life you need to find another job.

Go to your pictures there should be an option to edit them somewhere. Usually find all the tools in there

"I can't upload my face because of my job. I can't upload my genitals because apparently people don't like that. There is nothing else to upload, what do you people want from me?!" I've seen here before. Not in so many words.

If you are literally nothing than a face and a penis/vulva, pictures on Fab are the least of your concerns. You should probably seek medical attention.

Chams or Socials

We understand having no face pics on display but there is no reason we can think of for no pics at all. A hand, a foot etc or a piece of paper over their face with profile name on…..

Everyone's personal levels of risk are different. Some are happy to show faces, others do so privately when building a relationship with potential playmates (my preferred method) and some won't share at all.

Each are perfectly valid, but each will have differing levels of response. I personally feel that you cannot ask more of someone than you're prepared to do yourself.

I use an app called Snow. There are brushes to blur or pixelate but I think most phones have these built into their own photo editing settings these days too.

Sharing too much personal info over the Internet never ends well does it? Once it's out there... Its there for ever.

I think your find they do if your actions out side of work can be seen as bringing the company name into disrepute.
