They're not new rules at all. They've been there for years, the difference is they didn't apply to us while we were in the EU because part of being a member required us to maintain the same system of regulations. All that's happened is we are now treated the same as any other country from outside the EU. We have the exact same rules for people traveling here.

We voted not to be in the EU so we're not. It really is that simple. No one is inventing rules to spite the British, they're simply asking us to abide by the rules that every other person on the planet who lives outside the EU has to abide by.

There are laws like this all over the world. Many countries have bio security laws - Australia is a classic example - that restrict what food can be brought in.

If you have travelled anywhere you should have seen warnings at airports and on landing cards telling you what you can and cannot bring into countries and you would know it has nothing to do with Brexit.

Scotland is in Britain!!

The theme of your original post is much more than Raves (though I haven't heard of that one!).

Fines are being brought in, in certain parts of Spanish territories, such as the Balearic and Canary Islands, plus the major Holiday resort cities.

It's all to do with cracking down on antisocial behaviour by all tourists, not just UK ones.

Thus, there will be bans on smoking and BBQ's on Beaches.

Wearing of tops in streets and in bars will be mandatory, ie, no bare chested guys, otherwise fines will be handed out.

In some places, there's to be a limit of drinks consumed. Pub and Bar crawls in major Tourist hot-spots are now banned. Bar owners who allow it can be fined heavily or even be closed down.

"And you cannot bring meat or dairy into the country

This is both true and not true at the same time. I know you love a conundrum Tom.

This is an EU rule not a specifically Spanish rule. The EU has strict rules on the import or meat and dairy products. The UK helped write those rules when they were in the EU and also applied them to countries outside the EU.

Now of course, the UK has voted to have those rules apply to them and you can no longer export said items from the UK to the EU.

So, you cannot bring meat and dairy products to Spain from the UK, but you can from another EU country.

Be more specific in the future Tom!

Punished? These are laws the UK helped to write, then voted to ensure said laws applied to the UK.

The UK has made these changes apply, not the EU.
