Seen this statement in a few profile's recently, surely my idea of good looking would be different to someone else's, not everyone likes the same people do they. Surely you would be blowing your own trumpet by messaging them in the first place.

What's your opinion on this please?

Yeah everyone has different standards of good looking of course, but I imagine they'd mean the type of people you'd see in magazines or strictly jungle on ice island. I.e. not me and Mrs c

I chuckle when read this also op, I can only assume they mean media friendly attractive, if you get my drift. More often than not they're the same ones looking for fellow "professionals" because everyone knows they're better in the sack

Personally we avoid these couple's as I can't imagine that a meet would be much fun. We prefer people that are down to earth and a good laugh that take us as we are.

I don’t really get it either .Everyone has different tastes .A couple could message them who think their good looking only to send a picture and be told your not for us .

People can look for whatever they choose.

Maybe they put it because they search themselves the majority of the time but use it as a means of ignoring incoming messages from those that don't meet their definition, because like it or not, there are stereotypical definitions of both 'fit' and 'attractive'. Maybe they would be more likely to read incoming messages from people who have the confidence to think of themselves as fit/attractive and therefore chose to message?

I guess it's subjective as you say, but there's nothing wrong with being specific about your tastes in your profile text as it helps give people a better idea of what you seek.

Much like putting 'seeking well hung' and ignoring any messages from guys with obviously average/below average sized knobs, or expressing a desire for curvy/busty women and dismissing any size 8, flat chested applicants.

I think it's ok as a statement. I don't really know what it means exactly but in broad terms it probably means slim to medium build, facially good to look at and well groomed.

I agree, there are people who are objectively good looking because there’s a some beauty standard given to us by magazines and tv/films etc etc

Id say they mean someone who look super fit to look at

I think its odd. It's subjective so it's a bit of a pointless statement as you don't know what they find attractive, better to say something like we prefer slim/tall/short/larger/green hair or whatever takes your fancy.

I wouldn't message someone who had this on their profile

Seen a few like that and sometimes you have to laugh as they are not normally fit or good looking in my eyes lol.

Each to their own and can understand why they say it also.

If I feel I don't fit what someone is looking for I don't message them. Everyone is entitled to fuck people they are attracted to.
