13 years old went to a record fair with about 4 pound in my pocket i no it was less than a fiver . I'd earned from mowing lawns down my street. first album I brought there was the sex pitols never mind the bollocks second hand copy .knew the album from a friend's older brother . I loved that album so I brought my own copy .

My dad had an 8-track player in his 1971 Ford Maverick. I don’t remeber seeing it, but I’ve seen photos of it. And they had an 8-track player at home too.

First CD bought was Paula Abdul - Forever Your Girl. First LP would have been a children’s one or so in the late 70s.

I bought that one. And Doctorin' The TARDIS as well....

The first single I ever bought was This Ole House by Shakin' Stevens, although the first one I ever owned was Stop The Cavalry by Jona Lewis. Dad bought it for me as a birthday present the February after it has been in the Christmas charts, and wondered why he struggled to get hold of it

Can't remember the first album I bought, but the first I owned was again a birthday present, Brothers In Arms. On vinyl
