Don't be, technology helps so much. Also I live near the sea so use that to fill it up and for water changes.

Few pieces of coral which are doing well. Fish wise, small snowflake eel, longnose hawkfish, convict tang, couple of Chromis and an engineer Goby.

I’ve got a small saltwater one, but I’m looking to shut it down, as don’t have a lot of time, plus my local fish shops have stopped doing marine fish

Essex.

We have 4 tanks but hoping to reduce the to two.

A 200L tropical marine tank, it's fairly new so only got 2 clown fish, a golden tang ( I think) a shrimp, snails and about 8 coral frags.

2 fresh water tanks with axolotls and a small fresh water with 4 white mountain cloud thingies.

The plan is to devide a new larger tank for the 2 axolotls and add the fish to that tank.

They belong to our middle son, we just finance most of it...lol

They are but one of them gave me a scare the other morning.

Got up for work just after 3am, go downstairs to see on of them floating on the surface, gave it a gentle poke, nothing.

Then another poke, still nothing.

I knew Frisky was awake, so go and tell her, she comes down and I give it another couple of pokes.

There was no hiding it, so we decided to wake our son, so at least he has a few hours to process it before college.

He decided not to look and go back to bed.

So by now I had a couple of minutes before I leave, I noticed the axolotl was in a slightly different place, so thought one more poke, bloody thing took off like an underwater greyhound...

If you do get it up and running empty to cycle for about March / April so when koi season starts you’re good to go , means you can fatten and grow them through the summer ready for winter
