Nails, why oh why will my nail varnish not stay put. I use base coat and top coat, I’ve tried different sorts too *cries

Seriously was being fitted with 38 bands when you actually measure my band with an inch tape is 34. I know wear 34 newest bra is 32, so much more comfortable as the bra isn't moving about and bigger cup size means wires aren't on breast tissue. So so much more comfortable

..I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to be comfortable is to wear no bra sadly tho for us women that have big boobs that’s out of the question.

I went to Bravissimo and got measured up and tried loads of bras on, found a couple that were really comfortable thankfully.

As for nails, I don't bother with nail varnish or false nails. With one of my jobs, I can never keep them looking nice so it's a waste of time trying.

The best ones I've found are Primark!!! They're not the most beautiful- 40 denier & the top is striped but I'm a fairly wobbly size 16 & the large ones are actually a bit too big on me...

On nails, in what way does the polish not stay put? If it peels or lifts off, that's potentially a different solution than if it chips or flakes off. For the former, I'd suggest ditch any polish and spend a few weeks caring for your natural nails - cuticle oil rubbed in a few times a day, consider vitamins. For the second problem, which is likely poor quality product, a good quality gel manicure by your local beauty therapist is probably the answer.

Adding a gel overlay over your finished polish should keep it in place, works for me anyway.

M & S for everyday bra's are the most comfortable IMO and offer free fitting service

Hold ups are my bug, think I need a suspender belt, so any ideas on the best type are welcome ladies

I have really dry skin with bad eczema, I'm desperate to come off the steroid creams but seem to have tried everything. Does anyone have any miracle cures they know of please?

I use nailtiques and solar oil, but the problem is chipping whether I use them or not.

Manicures aren’t an option unfortunately

Can’t help with the bra issues unfortunately…I tend to pick the look of it over comfort

Tropic Skincare are all natural plant based and have helped a lot of people with eczema.

Nailberry nail varnish is a game changer - recently started using it and found it chips far less

Bras - I swear by Calvin Klein and or Pour Moi plunge push up bras for everyday wear

Ann summers - I size up from my usual dress size and have found them great and there usually around £9-12

Primark also have ones that are £4 and stay up well.

I’ve always had this issue too with the dancers thighs, none of them want to stay put!

Not read through the whole thread but I swear by the BIAB (builder in a bottle) nail varnish base. Quite thick but nothing chips etc with your nails, I go 3 - 4 weeks and they are perfect, only have regrowth. Hope this helps x

Yep! Their mock garters are brilliant, they perfectly cup my rather sizeable bottom.

No hold ups yet, I've got fingers crossed they restock their thigh high socks soon.

The best bra I’ve ever owned was a Prima Donna Deauville (Rigby & Peller owned which I didn’t know at the time) it cost a small fortune in 2018 but worth every penny. It was constantly machine washed & worn for nearly 3 years. It placed my big boobs where they needed to be & stopped my back ache. I’m saving for another but they have released more colours making it hard to choose. In the mean time I’m wearing some from Next which do the job just not as well.

Bra's - ann summer, always a good fit and nice looking. Same for under wear, I like it matching

Nail, try emery board to roughened the surface first then wipe with asitone to remove oils, allow to evaporate then paint and allow to dry between layers and put 2 coats of clear lacor on top to seal and protect.

I recently followed an add for those sticker ones you see on insta, Manila

Honestly so good, last a couple of weeks

Sore bras... no answer with these heifers. Got a new bra that made full holes in my skin the other week. Still got the scars

I've got a fair few hold ups, body's, crotchless bits from UK tights, a few options that are "sized". One size hold ups have no chance of not rolling on my thighs.

I also read it on another Fab forum (thanks ladies) about dancers glue, "dancing sock glue" on Amazon, under a tenner, rolls on like deodorant to add some extra tac to the rubbery bands. A-MAZ-ING

If/When I do, I make peace with the fact that it will look good oke, 2 days tops. Gelish fucks up my already weak nails, had it twice but no more…

Bras- The Lightly-Lined Tshirt Wireless from Victoria’s Secret are super comfortable for everyday wear. I got them in every possible design in my last visits to Miami, Phoenix amd Vegas in the last 3 months. But there’s a good choice in stores here too! My fave is the pink striped one in my photos.

Nails - clean with nail polish remover BEFORE applying, base coat, no 7 gel finish polish BUT the trick is once you’ve applied along the length of the nail add a stroke across the tip horizontally then one more stroke along the centre of the length. Use rubber gloves for any wet/dirty work

Hold ups - I see someone has already recommended dancers glue - this is also very handy for dresses/tops that need to be held in place

I was wearing 38 ee for years incorrectly, measured using this method and I’m apparently 40 h bought bras from a few retailers in this size MUCH better fit I also don’t buy underwire bras any more!

When I’m just myself and nobody is gonna see I just wear the crop top style padded tops now much more comfy
