Has anyone used house swaps or even air b&b and such like for a short break or a longer holiday either here or another country? How did you find it?

Air B&B’s are great. I would highly recommend using them just do your research first

We use Airbnb whenever we go away in the U.K. we prefer them to hotels, you get your own private space and the host are accommodating (check reviews and book a super host)

Like a home away from home - thumbs up

We use Air B n B. We've rented some great apartments that way.

I've used Air Bnb in Edinburgh and Oxfordshire. They were great.

Airbnb's are great, just yry not to pick the cheapest.

We have never been disappointed from apartments to villas to a boat in a marina for a few days

I love airbnb's, we've stayed at some lovely places...much more room than a hotel room, usually for around the same price, and often with free parking.

Some of the hosts are wonderful...one lady in Derbyshire that we've stayed with a few times is like visiting a relative, she always has the fire lit, brought freshly baked scones, and even invited us to share their evening meal

Sounds wonderful, and a nice area for a break too. You never know, I might stumble across it on the site
