Taking inspiration from a tangent in a joke thread...

Who still wears a wrist watch?

Think must be over 15 years now since last wore one due to always having a mobile with me

I recently bought one that looks like one of them shambala bracelets. It's very pretty but keeps coming loose and an worried I'll lose it.

Also bought one that is a locket that looks really pretty.

For someone with so many watches you'd think my timekeeping would be better

At least that, and probably a good deal longer. Stopped wearing on when I realised I had become a 'slave to the clock' and looking at the damned thing almost became a nervous twitch... Now I am just a slave to the bloody mobile phone instead.... Just can't win sometimes! Lol!

If you're going to slip your fingers inside me, then please trim your nails - and take your rings off - and the wristwatch.....

I don't wear my wristwatch on my fingers

I always take my watch off when having sex, as I don't have to worry about how long we're spending together

ANNIE - are you using a watch as a depth gauge for fisting ??

or are you just worried about damaging something if its not water proof / gush proof .. hehehe

I love watches. I have about 8 of them and don't leave home without one.

I can't stand it when I forget to put my watch back on after I shower, keep looking at my wrist and then complaining to myself, and I never remember I have forgotten it so it happens over and over!

I hardly ever take mine off and it's never out of my sight as it cost the equivalent of 2000 double cheese burgers

I still wear one. My favourite (currently) is my Accurist F1 Chrono. I feel naked without a watch.

I usually wear one. Occasionally, like today, I rush out somewhere and forget to put it on. It feels very strange without it.

Never wear rings or necklaces but I always wear a wristwatch.

I've got quite a collection, and could wear a different one every day for a month.

They aren't worth a lot of money, but I bought each one because I liked it

After many many years wearing a fob watch it took me a long time to stop looking down at my right boob everytime someone asked me what time it was....

I wear one when I am suited and booted and going out dressed up, rest of the time i rely on my mobile.

So much easier to glance at a watch at the dinner table than to take out a phone.

Yeah, I have to own up that I collect watches and Im also learning to repair them too!

I mostly collect Bulova Accutrons, pre 1980 when they moved to a quartz based movement. The Accutron was the first watch on the moon and there is still one there today, housed in an instrument panel in the Sea of Tranquillity.

I'm going to stop now, I'm getting far to geeky about watches!!

Oh, I also wear them!

Torquay

After my father was killed Forty years ago his personal belongings were returned to my mother, my older brother had Dad's watch and wore it himself overseas on active duty, now his son (my nephew) wears the same watch when he too serves overseas.
