What are your favourites or ones that have made you laugh?

The chain has come off my bike = can't get a hard on. You just keep.peddling, but you're getting nowhere.

I always thought euphemisms were "nice ways" of describing something less pleasant. For me the _xpression "helping the police with their enquiries" would be one of those? It says that somebody is being helpful but it means that they are being questioned. Am I missing something...?
