A band you like that raises eyebrows

Dr Hook (showing my age here) is a band that I’m a big fan of but I always get funny looks. The ones who know them are surprised k can sing along to their back catalogue. I blame my mum, she constantly played them.

What’s your band that’s not the usual popular choices?

*I have other weird ones - weird al is one.

Nowt wrong with that, although not a lot of people know that it was entirely written and composed by a German guy called Frank Farian

Yeah I get that a lot as well. Didn't realise I'd have to go about painted up like Kiss everyday to listen to rock and metal.

"Not sure, but the average teenager tends to be shocked that there was music before they were born "

Tis odd, because I pretty much only like music from before I was born and always have. I like the odd bit from the 90s and early 2000s, but for me, music stopped happening circa 2010-ish. I have no idea what's current, but I can sing the entire Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison back catalogue
