Somewhere In The Ether…

Well, we had the best of the best so now it’s logically time for you to list your all time worst ever movie endings good folks.

It could be due to it being hugely disappointing, anticlimactic, unresolved or else just plain bloody stupid - nominate thy worst film endings ever here

I’ll start with the film, Enemy starring Jake Gyllenhaal to which I say, ‘What…..the…...fuck….?!’

Stockport

Lord of the Rings, Return of the King. It had an ending that dragged on and on, I sat there, looking at my watch, bored.

My nan’s spare room.

The latest Bond film.

You can’t kill James Bond, not even Dr No, Goldfinger and Scaramanga could kill him.

Somewhere In The Ether…

The Great Silence starring the late Klaus Kinski:

A great film but without doubt, one of the most unhappy endings ever

Worthing

Snakes on a Train has to be seen to be believed. Rubbish film with even worse ending! Snakes on a Plane was a decent film however.

Somewhere In The Ether…

The Game, starring Michael Douglas.

A fantastic film that builds in delicious tension until the final reveal…..which is absolutely bloody ridiculous.

2012. It's like half a story

I must admit though the latest James Bond was somewhat lackluster, suppose it was one way to make sure Craig was killed off and didn't return. As for poor old Felix, he's killed every couple of films. CIA equivalent of 007 I imagine.

Camberley occasionally doncaster

Could we include the last 2 films of the original matrix trilogy? (I don't have the inclination to see the latest one)
