Job's worth !!

I would like to award the "Golden Job's Worth hat" to my Coalman !!

Today he has delivered 10 bags of 25kg smokeless fuel and dropped them on the path blocking the way instead of tipping them into the bunker. When i asked him to tip them in, the answer was " Sorry lady not allowed to do that, might hurt my back"

ME "BUT you have just walked from the lorry to here with the coal on your back, so why can't you do it"

HIM " Because i have just told you why"

Then walks off whistling. I so bloody wanted to pick up a lump and throw it at the back of his head, but refrained myself from doing so.

Who would you like to award my hat too and why? (Perky)

A lot of us where i live have open fires in their lounge still, it's lovely on a very cold night snuggled up with a dvd and glass of wine and i don't have gas, my house is all electric

Ooh lucky you! I miss having a fire.

You should've lobbed the coal at his head.

We have a lot of jobsworth's where I work. Can't think of examples... But they are very slopey shouldered.

And they only get one shipment of Chardonnay a year too (when the local tractor lickers go out in the river dressed as 'phantoms' and wreck a shipfull of unsuspecting sailors on the mudflats! Then, about a year later when all the ladies of the village have 'had their wicked way' with them thar sailors, they let them go....

(Oh I am soooo dead when Perky reads this.... )

Health and safety gone mad,one of my friends works on a building site and one day a female safety inspector turned up and said"you will not climb that ladder until it is tied to the structure.

He then replied"how can i secure it if i cannot get to the top to tie it to the building".She had no answer and walked off it turns out she had not been in the job long and was still learning!!

a town near you

health and safety hasnt gone mad . just ask the loved ones of people killed by companies who have little or no respect for how there employees are treated . health and safety is firmly stacked in favour of the employer not the employee
