Is it just me...

I find that I often have full flowing conversations with people and then it runs aground and they don't reply... ever again haha. Is it me or is it them... I'm sure it's probably them haha. Anyone else find this to be the case?

On another note, I hope everyone has enjoyed their short week of work and is right and ready for a Friday tomorrow

Sometimes conversations just run their natural course.

Sometimes they get bored.

Sometimes you might have said something to put them off.

Gapping Fanny

Sometimes people just let conversations take a pause.

I know I do.

Its not that I don’t want to talk, its more about letting the conversation breathe.

After a certain point there’s not really much to talk about on here? Say hello, swap pictures, determine interests, define rules etc, check availability aligns, bit of flirty flirty, would you fancy a social/ fun…

I wouldn't worry too much, it could be a number of different reasons but I doubt it's anything personal unless you're a massive bellend or you enjoy kicking dogs or something idk.

Yes, it's just you OP I kid, we get it a fair bit too. Maybe they decide they're not interested, maybe they find something shinier, maybe we just got pushed to the bottom of their inbox. I wouldn't take it personally.

somewhere, someplace

I'll hold my hands up I'm guilty of this, normally the reason behind is I just need a breather from chatting and step back from all conversations, even those with family

There are probably more people who work bank holidays than those that don't!

On the other thing, not a clue. Could be hundreds of different reasons.

Is this after getting close to arranging a meet?

We have a rule that when we like someone we try and limit conversation so it doesn’t run it’s course or to stop something putting us or them off.

It's not just you OP.

Then quite often weeks will go by before they will answer your last message. Unfortunately, my interest would have switched direction by then.

I tend to not reply sometimes but it’s just because I’m busy, Iv got stuff to do, friends, kids , think il reply later and a conversation with someone who I’m only chatting to for a bit isn’t that high up on my list of things to remember to reply to.

It also depends on which platform I’m talking on… messages on here? I never keep a constant flow.

Text message? Your never get a reply.

What’s app? I’m always on there so il chat alot more.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's of course variable but more often than not the wheels appear to be rolling and then suddenly fall off x
