Crash Team Racing on the old iPhone 3, loved that game, really easy to play, you just tilted your phone. They haven’t supported it for years now, can’t play it on modern phones

DAW Apps such as Korg Gadget, Nanostudio 2 and the amazingly versatile Sunvox are certainly very good value in my opinion

So I'll say Minecraft.

Paid £4.99 in 2014, My Son still uses it.

One of the few apps I pay for the full version of is the Ordnance Survey app. I use it a lot and great to get up to date maps for outdoor activities etc. although if was going serious hiking I’d still always take a paper one and compass with me.

On the phone There's a handy app for moving playlists between music services. Was not cheap (as apps go), but saves a lot of time.

As far as i recall, the only app I've ever paid for is Neutron music player.

I've bought it probably three times across various devices.

It's reliable, customisable, the developer continues to update it (and it's been close to 10 years now).

I pay for InShot (video editing), it's about £11 a year. It's just so simple to use and I like the music. I do have others on my phone but I come back to it every time.

The Noom app has been the one I've found of most value in terms of tracking weight loss.

Strava has got to be the best app for running, tracking routes and recording progress.

It’s probably the single most used app I have bought, and it’s helpful with work too which is a bonus.

I dabble a bit with music so I’d say AUM was a great freebie if you don’t want to rely on GarageBand, plus the Moog Minimiog Model D is a bargain (and sometimes offered free), especially when you thinking the price of a real one.
