Genuinely single?

Was talking to a lady earlier, and she was complaining that it was the weekend and she was bored as there were no guys about, so no meets.

I asked about all those supposedly single guys and she just laughed!

So......... what is the score with single guys on here? What do you reckon is the percentage of genuine single guys? And when I say single, I mean no steady or serious girl in their life.

Who can say and really it's something that people keep bringing up over and over again.

No one has any idea just how many guys say their single when their not, just like no one knows how many single girls are actually in a relationship when they say their single! The same can apply to just how many couples, single guys or girls on here are timewasters or are not whom they claim to be!

id say very few single guys on here are single, even the ones who say they are, i always wonder why a middle aged man, with no ties and has own home, car and buisness cant accommodate? lol

I would say most of the men i arrange to meet with who let me down last min are married and im guess they let me down because their wifes changed her plans and they cant get out now, thats what really fucks me off, if your married and cheating say you are, ok im not going to meet you but at least your not being branded as a time waster because to me married men who lie and arrange meets then cant get cause of their mrs ARE time wasters, they wasted my time

i think the problem with us genuine people is that we expect everyone else to be the same ...and life isnt like that . ..my on board radar tends to spot the fakers and timewasters and i try to meet guys who are local,,but still get stood up at times ,and i spend a lot of saturday night s alone too, but not tonight !!!!lucky me ..

Totally agree, here as in all aspects of life you get the good, the bad, the indifferent, the beautiful and the downright ugly but you just sift through the dregs till you find your diamond - and I have to say I have found my fair share xxxxx

actually I did laugh, when I was at the club I was at last week (fab time by the way) a got a fair grilling from a lot of women as to why I was single....

truely single guy here (get my plug in as well) but I think that so many people have been burnt by those that have lied, that a lot of the time, we don't get the benefit of the doubt anymore.........

not saying other wise, im a single female but i dont accommodate, but i dont meet couples and single fems so not really bothered what they do

I dont really care if people accommodate im happy to use hotels i just never see the point in stating in your profile...home owner etc if your not accommodating, if your not using your house why mention it? thats what i find iffy, i just feel like people who put they have their own house but cant use it are almost like trying to hard to prove they are single when they not

Well to be honest after a shortish chat on MSN or the phone, I can tell pretty much if a guy is single or not, there are plenty of little signs you can easily spot with the right conversation if you know how to be a devious, manipulative, wiley woman lol xxx

I was just about to type something similar... Oh OK not that similar, but still making the point it’s not just married guys who can’t get out at the weekend.

Separated with kids... isn't it quite common for people to have their kids at weekends.

24/7 Society... lots of people don’t work 9-5, Mon-Fri.

Hobbies and Interests… not all people have sex as their only pastime and the weekend is the traditional time to do these things.

Stop Gap... people who come onto swinging sites in hope of it being a mid-week stop gap for a shag... they go out on the pull at the weekend with their mates (and would have a hard job explaining to their mates why they aren't out on the pull). And whilst out on the pull they can look for a nice vanilla guy/gal to become a nice normal couple and settle down and leave this seedy place behind.
