Research has shown the average person tells a lie between one and two times every day whether there a white lie who can tell but we certainly are a race of liars .I'm 6 foot tall hung like Johnny Holmes and the best fuck you'll ever have .

Oh shit I'm all ready over my quota for the day , now what am I going to do for the rest of the day lie some more I suppose .

Yes broccoli tastes amazing.

If you don't eat all your food there's no pudding.

Oh and don't get me started on Santa, Tooth fairy and Easter bunny.....

Sure. We all lie a little, if it’s in a way that doesn’t hurt anyone then why not?

This food is lovely! *it’s okay, but not lovely.’

"So, it's ok to lie? Being honest is not in fashion?"

You asked. ‘Little white lies’.

Are you now asking about ‘lying’ in general.

No, lies are not okay, some are unforgivable.

Yes, little white lies are sometimes probably forgivable.

Hope this explains my feelings about it more clearly.

It’s a grey area and probably different to each other.

If I felt that the truth would hurt the person if I lied, it wouldn’t be a white lie to me. Hope that makes sense.

"Everyone lies in life about one thing or another. "

...in a nutshell.

It's also subjective, and for me, makes the person untrustworthy. I think that's why even though i get upset with the other half for his inability to sugarcoat or be tactful, I trust his opinion. For example if I were to ask "does my bum look big in this?" his response would be "yes, and everything else you wear because you have a big bum...dah!"

I got upset when he said it, but had no response when he said if I didn't want the truth why ask?

There are grey areas such as someone describing themselves as athletic on their profile - how does one define an absolute truth with an opinion? Is 'convenient' opinion considered a white lie?

That is very true. I always strayed lies do not lay down for ever. They will raise their heads.

I don’t like being blunt though, truth is not an excuse to be hurtful.

Yes. Exactly this. I’m a bit like this to a certain extent. I’d never be nasty and I choose my words carefully but my friends absolutely know I’d be honest if I thought something didn’t look right and they appreciate that. I do too.

Yep. Also if someone asks me for advice on something I'll give the truth *as I see it* not as I think they want to see it. However I will lie with no qualms at all to save my own skin

If telling the truth is too uncomfortable, then a white lie is sometimes a bit more forgiving to the other person.

Still makes me feel like I’m going to burn in hell for doing it.

I think they're a thing. Even on fab. And yeah, I don't think too much about them to be honest. Everyone white lies at some point or other. It happens. As long as it's not moving to a mahoosive lie/hurting others, I'm cool with them.

I usually white lie to spare peoples feelings “ this cake you’ve baked is delicious” and to get out of doing things that I don’t want to do “aww I can’t come out tonight, I have a thing to do”.

Other then that, I’m very truthful.

When your 'bank'/ etc calls you, give them your wrong birthday month when they ask.

If it's really them they should have it on their screen and know you gave them wrong info.
