Everyone in my family says that I'm my dad-lite. Think that goes for the bad as well as the good though

In the west.

I work very hard not to have the trait that ran through my family. It's a typical west of Scotland trait and I don't want it.

Thankfully not. Even as a young person I saw myself as different to my family and as I got older I distanced myself from them. For many years now I have completely cut off from them. I wish them all every happiness in life but I want nothing to do with them.

NBVN x

North West

Impatience (a bit)

Competitiveness

All the other traits are shit and I'm very conscious of them. Fortunately, I don't appear inherently like my mother at all

Not a great lot. I'm very 'individual' to the rest of my family. Don't think that's the right word but couldn't think of the correct wording.

My family are very judgemental and I just can't be doing with it. They also lie to me/keep me in the dark/avoid the truth, and that hurts.

My stubbornness. When we have family disputes we don’t talk to each other for months because we’re all really stubborn.

In the middle

Yes I have, the part that makes me love them and protect them and help them in any way I possibly can, that’s how my family is

Brown eyes.

But in seriousness, both my parents are incredibly toxic people and I inherited that, and it’s been a long road getting out of that!

To work hard for what you have and to never expect anything handed on a plate. Same for my own children.

Procrastination & putting things off from my mum, coupled with my dad's no nonsense get it done attitude. It's a constant battle to fight.

Guy mode I look like dad, Gemma looks scarily like my mum in one particular colour wig.

Worthing

My grandmother on mothers side said I am like her father. I have my parents personalities. Both are average height so I get mine from grandfather on mothers side.

Somewhere near here

I’m generally the black sheep, but very similar to my dad, who was also the black sheep growing up. Now my eldest is very similar to me and my dad

Physically very similar to my dad, by temperament a real mix of him and my mum.

Yes I feel it would be quite odd if I hadn't.

I see a curious mix of myself, Mr N and our wider family in our children too

Yes, I have sisters whom I have been mistaken for - and we're not twins/triplets... and it seems, the older we get, the more alike we look.

I have once been recognised by people who were total strangers to me but they knew my parents and my siblings .

I've also once been told by one of my previous meets that he thought he bumped into my sister in a different part of the country - and, yes, he did (professionally mind)

Kind of, both good and bad but I'm learning to not be quite as... cutting as my mother can be. The bad can be unlearned I'm hoping.
