Do you have any other eating facts that when you think about it, people could have gone on with their lives happily without knowing it?

So here’s mine.

The text messenger was available on the early mobile phones as the phone engineers used to tap keys to send short messages (sms) to other engineers and call centre staff etc. so they added the feature to peoples tattoos and mobiles and it was a free feature on the beginning. After everyone knew that was cheaper than using your allocation of minutes. The providers then added a charge. 10/12 p or free to the same network.

Yes, the early mobiles did not charge for a text.

We made a simple back door feature one of the mobiles biggest features. Just look at emojis.

Yeh, and I wonder why people don’t want to meet me

Your turn.

Aylesbury

The nazi party loved coca cola, they even had adverts for the stuff in the back of the Hitler youth books. When the US joined the war against Germany the supply was cut off. Having conquered large parts of the Mediterranean, oranges were in plentiful supply, so they decided to make their own orange flavoured soft drink, which they called Fanta. Fanta is still part of the coca cola brand.

Next to your fuel gauge is the image of a petrol pump... with a little arrow to remind you which side the fuel flap is on

Next to a forum posters name is a little green arrow.... click it to see all posts they've been involved in

Wikipedia sometimes purposely posts false information, can't say what but it does make sense.

Tony was involved in a DNA fingerprinting trial, he had to find 40 or so fit healthy males to each give a sample of blood and semen for the labs to attempt to match up, including his own (randomly labelled vials), 100% success.

A now defunct drinks company marketed a drink they called 1 Up. It was not a success. They tried 5 more times before the company folded. Such a missed opportunity!

Caterpillars don't just change the body they have into a butterfly, they actually "melt" inside the cocoon and turn into a liquid before reforming as a butterfly.

I knew! (It's my job to know) If more people knew then maybe they'd stop using it as a general purpose lubricant...
