BH walk or rub oil on my worktop

Should I choose a walk in the fresh air of the Yorkshire Dales or sand and rub oil into my kitchen work top? What are your choices of pleasure today?

Rule of thumb , oil the worktops when the clocks change , then you’ll never forget

Wow great advice. Only problem is I’ve booked in the mowing of the lawn for clock changing and only doing it once a year it’s like a forest ??

Well that was my first mistake…it’s real wood. Looks lovely when freshly oiled but been using kitchen spray on it recently so it’s taken then top coat off

It’ll take a few hours. Need to prep and sand the top coat off then gently does it.

I rubbed danish oil into mine and it just dried out and looks the same as before, waste of time

Surprisingly my deeds prevent me keeping goats or cattle in my garden. Good idea though.

Few things match walking up the side of a hill and laying there watching the world go by. The outdoors open up a whole new world of adventure
