Manchester (she/her)

You can paint or decorate your walls any colour you want.

It's free in my magical hypothetical, and also happens without hassle or effort.

Your property value will neither rise or fall because of it.

What would you do to your house/living space?

I have 2 styles I like, couldn't be further from each other.

Either full on goth or full on plant life and outdoorsy insidey. Like all cottagey and cute with oodles of greenery

La la land

It would be a mismatch of Bohemian with plants hanging from the ceiling and really decorative Victorian with all my tat and dark colours everywhere. Though I'm about to paint my hall dark green after lunch

I'd have a huge tree and a rock face with a waterfall that goes into a perfect temp pool with the worlds best speakers for listening to music or audio books

Yes but, how would you paint the walls

Op. I’d go white for now. Change it up when you can be bothered again.

Stockport

Batcave. Complete with dinosaur skeleton, batsuit in glass case, bridge across a bottomless chasm where I park the batmobile, bats flying around the cavern roof, huge computer system taking up all one wall. Comes complete with Alfred the butler to clean up the batshit every day.

I hope you're paying Alfred well. So much batshit

Worthing

A neutral light colour. Magnolia or Apricot White. Done that in all my homes to good effect. Less is more.

You'd love my house (I'm a decorator with a house plant obsession)

Done right, it looks amazing... I prefer a soft matt finish, than gloss but... put your foot down man (don't, if you value your life)

Plain walls with a handprint of every friend that's ever come into my life. No names, just a reminder that good or bad that they'll always be there and those contacts will always mean something

Central

I'd like some retro rooms, including 1950s, possibly 1960s. I'm open to colours, anything but beige. 50s should be bright.

Alfred does it all merely out of a sense of duty...

North West

Accessible EVERYTHING! Widened doorways. Low level kitchen surfaces, sink and cooker. Rise and recline chair. Wheelchair proof flooring. Flat access front and back. Full basketball court in the garden. Oh. And it's in a mythical bungalow, not the current place with stairs. Colour of walls irrelevant!

Can I knock our house down and rebuild it with the same number of rooms just each one twice as big? Quite happy with a small number of rooms but nit a small number of small rooms. There is nowhere in the house I can do yoga without constantly having to reposition to avoid walls or furniture and the ceilings are way too low.

Big rooms, Scandinavian type decor.

May need to check with the land lord though.

Mr
