I'm a disco queen but I do love a bit of 80's synth pop. I'm not so knowledgeable about the band but I'll still play in my ineptitude...

Song - I just can't get enough...'cause sometimes I just can't

Album - mmmm probably the one with that song on it!

Band member - The lead singer during his long hair stage. Looked real sexy on personal Jesus vid.

Black Celebration/Stripped - can’t decide.

Violator…maybe. A tough choice.

Martin Gore - pretty boy with fetish style xxx

Btw the stoner/psychedelic metal band Monster Magnet (who I also love) do a fabulous cover of Black Celebration. Worth checking out.

I’m going to be controversial and say Ultra is the best album!

Awesome band, amazing live show, seen them around a half dozen times

Songs of Faith and Devotion

In Your Room (album version)

Alan Wilder (controversial, I'm sure, but his departure was such a loss, Ultra managed to be excellent still but something was missing).

Got to say, Just Can't Get Enough is an all time dance floor filling favorite of mine. With Vince writing that, and most, if not all of the first album

Love them.

For me, Stripped is one of the sexiest songs around and the title track from that album is equally glorious.

Album: It has to be songs of faith and devotion.

Favourite member: Martin Gore, a very much underrated songwriter.

Hmmm.....

Probably A question of lust and I feel you tied as favourites..... But it's a close call with several others (Little 15, Everything counts, Only when I lose myself, Personal jesus, Stripped) all gotta be played loud though

And OBV Dave Gahn

by the big field

Love DM, kind of been a fan since the 80's, but really got deeper in to them over the last few years as i've started to appreciate the lyrics more instead of just the music.

Not a chance i could pick a favourite of anything.

101 got me in to them over just being one of the many 80's synth pop bands i listened to and definitely drawn to the darker side of their work form the late 80's onwards over the early years.

As for a single track, take a pick from the beauty of the live version of Somebody, the pounding dance epic of I feel loved, The immense opening shot brilliance of Pain that im used to (quite apt for here ), The funkiness of John the revelator or the soulful gospelesque Condemnation....i could go on.

Supremely good live if you've not had the pleasure
