The four people who went on trial for toppling the Coulson statue in Bristol were given a T shirt each by the Grime artist Banksy. Now one of the four is selling the T shirt at auction and expected to sell for £30,000

Only four were made. These T-shirts are as rare as rocking horse shit. Is it ethical to sell...? But 30k. Rip Off Britain.

What is unethical about selling a t-shirt that is legally yours ?

The keeping of a roof over ones head may have more sentimental value than a t-shirt.

Those T-shirts are a good investment if I had the money I’d certainly bid on one. If I remember he did a sketch once for a taxi driver and that got sold and made quite a bit of money.

People pay millions for art and those stupid NFT's. Obviously it's the biggest tax dodge/money laundering system in the world.

But at least in this case you get a T-Shirt.

Seems much better value to me.

Only if it has 'Greggs' on the t-shirt.

Otherwise no.

"I thought he did grafitti grime"

I’m not down with the graffiti lingo but a grime artist is essentially a rapper/MC.

"Isn't it all stencilled..?"

I think so but it’s usually politically motivated and relevant. I’m no expert in it. I haven’t graffitied since scratching my name into a table at school with a protractor.

See it’s been that long I forgot what it was called. I knew it was one of those things in a stationary set.
