Please don’t send any more money. I know someone this has happened to. They actually do go and meet once a year for 2 weeks and she spends the rest of the year sending thousands of pounds for “lost phones” and “family emergencies”

"Ive been chatting to a lady in US, She tells me she cannot manage. Ive sent her money. She has asked be to go over there. Should I go. ?"

You write in your profile:

“Sub seeks to be abused and used”

I think this is what you would get if you go… but maybe not in the way you would like.

Please, be careful.

"Ive been chatting to a lady in US, She tells me she cannot manage. Ive sent her money. She has asked be to go over there. Should I go. ?"

Now you have admitted this on the forum it's likely that people will message you on here trying to scam you. Be careful.

Have you met her in real life before? Do you know it is a she?

Have you chatted to her on camera?

If not then get that sorted, no excuses. If she won't do it for any reason then back away and do not go.

If she does, read the signs and see how you feel about it. Consider her sentence structure and see if it matches her written sentence structure for instance. If at any point you are uncertain, close it down.

If you then decide to go, ensure you have a back up plan in case things go badly. Plenty of folks have been caught in this kind of thing. Even Sherlock Holmes investigated a similar case as I recall.

Be careful and be safe in all things. You may have said goodbye to the money, do not chase it - that's how casinos and bookmakers get rich.

Please read and take the comments on here seriously.

You are more than likely being financially abused, scammed whatever word you want to use, block her (possibly him) and DO NOT send any more money.

That is how scammers work unfortunately OP, it could be genuine, but it's highly unlikely

Maybe watch 'the Tinder Swindler' if you have netflix..It will give you an insight

I hope you are OK

The Tinder Swindler strikes again.

When my lottery win became public knowledge I asked about what to do about all the begging letters. The consensus was, I should keep sending them.
