Have you had an Orgasm headache

Okay so I gotta ask. So this week I've discovered orgasm headaches. So I was having a relaxing time in the shower playing with my cock. I came. All of a sudden the back of my head felt like it's been smacked with a metal pole. The pain I was in was unreal.

I put it down to the steam and shower being hot. Until it happened again. And again. Everytime I got hard I felt a slight dull ache. When I cum I can't move. Litterally curled up in a ball for 2 hours in pure pain.

Turns out there's a thing called orgasm headaches. There rare. 1% of the adult population would experience one at least once. Mostly men. If your prone to migraines which I am then your even more a risk.

Unfortunately for me it's not the one time. It can carry on for up to a year!! Feels like a curse!!

I'm wondering if anyone else has had one and what there story is or how they delt with it.

At the moment I'm scared of my own cock. If I get sexual aroused and turned on the dull ache. If I cum pure pain.

Ouch. Sounds painful OP. Hope it clears up sooner rather than later!

The only orgasm induced headache I've ever had was when I got over-excited once and came before the wife........and jeez...the nagging I had for the next 24 hrs.....

A

I’ve been here a few times OP. didn’t know it had a name. It won’t be every time but just take it easy. Hope you feel better. I usually do after a sleep.

I get them in the form of crushing migraine every single time, usually around 6 hours later. Triptans work but they can only be taken so many times in a week.

Neurologist has ruled out anything sinister.

I feel for you OP, it's no fun having to plan an orgasm.

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I’ve experienced periods of these in the past, patches of a few weeks normally, and I thankfully haven’t had a patch for a few years, I looked them up once they had happened a few times to make sure it wasn’t a developing brain haemorrhage of something as they felt so severe. What I did find was that the tension build up working towards orgasm triggered it so I started trying to have much gentler masturbation sessions, gently stroking just the frenulum and getting that body tension and that helped a lot.

This. Until my prevention medication worked I didn't have an orgasm for nearly 2 years because every single time I would get a migraine.

Now I have the right meds I'm much better (thank the $Deity)...

At one point I was on a triptan 2 times a day (while we worked out my meds - and that was without having an orgasm not that I was wanking twice a day!)

I have had them and it was the worst pain I have ever had (sudden, acute, incredibly intense).

The first time I genuinely thought there was something seriously wrong with me and my head was going to (not literally) explode.

Once I found out what they were I felt better as in I knew I was not ill but it still does not help when I have them as the pain is truly excruciating.

A world all of his own

I've not experienced them, thankfully, but one of my ex's used to suffer terribly with them. Hope you manage a work around soon OP

I've had the same OP, whilst in the shower.

Not everytime and i dont suffer from migraines. I genuinely thought it was because she got me so turned on that she made me cum so hard it hurt. And told her that was the case!

She wont be happy now i know that wasnt true!

Thanks for your messages! Least I'm not alone!

I've read they are described as like a brain Hemorrhage!

Hopefully they go away. It's like a would you rather! Would you rather never have sex again or be in blinding pain everytime you are!

I've had them, but only when really dehydrated the morning after a night out drinking.

It may be unrelated, but make sure you drink enough water.

Yes. Especially if it was a long build up and an extreme climax.

Not an everyday occurrence

I went nearly 2 years without sex (or wanking) because of it.

In fact, the joys of mysoginistic health care... My neurologist only gave a shit about that when he realised that meant my husband hadn't had sex in 2 years and he was then all annoyed and said how 'that just wouldn't do'.

I mean jokes on him as hubby is asexual, but the fact I couldn't have sex wasn't a reason enough to medicate me
