Bit of a niche topic but earlier on I was delighted to see Penguin are doing a really high quality recording of all 41 books. The likes of Bill Nighy is doing all the foot notes and Andy Serkis some of the stand alone books. Indira Varma from GoT is doing the Witches series and from the clips she seems to have gotten the voices of the witches exactly as I had in my head.

I'm rereading the entire series at the moment but I will almost definitely listen to them once I've reread. Especially as I listen to more audiobooks now that actual reading.

There's an excellent little YouTube documentary made about it called Escape The Discworld.

You'll be even more enthusiastic once you see the YouTube video

I mean, I'm already excited just from reading about it. I am not sure watching the YouTube video will be good for my blood pressure

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

As the world has generally fallen more and more apart (covid, brexit, Ukraine etc) I've found I revert more and more to his books.

I started reading them as a teen after a recommendation from my school librarian. I just love them all, so funny and so clever. I think the librarian is my favorite character. Whats yours? X

I started reading them in school as well. Tough to pick a favourite character but I'd say Commander Vimes or maybe the Patrician.

Love the Librarian and DEATH as well. An Nanny Ogg to go drinking with.
