No matter outcome of the case the damage has already been done to Jonny Depp. But what I’ve seen and read on this current trial I’m amazed he lost the libel case against the Sun. I hope he wins the case as clearly she was the volatile abusive one.

"14 million Ukrainians have had to flee their homes, beggars belief people are interested in these two sad fucks that are still in the news. "

The news covers a smorgasbord of life events from around the world, from the Ukraine, to Boris and his parties, to Johnny Depp trying to clear his name as a woman beater, to Barri from Pontypandy winning £50 on a scratch card. And frankly, watching news reports from the Ukraine, of reporters shoving cameras and microphones in the faces of visibly distressed, shell shocked people who have lost everything and demanding a response to stupid questions like “how do you feel?” is no better.

"14 million Ukrainians have had to flee their homes, beggars belief people are interested in these two sad fucks that are still in the news. "

As an abuse survivor I'm interested. Triggered but interested. Regardless of the who, every exposure of an abuser is an internal victory for me. If this exposure highlights to one person they're in an abusive relationship it's worth it.

If this case highlights to others that the person who claims to be the victim isn't actually the victim at all and is playing the victim role because they've pushed their prey to the edge and the prey displays signs of reactive abuse, we're all one step closer to understanding the complexity of abusive relationships.

Watching JD is like looking in a mirror. Watching AH is like watching a narc saying what she thinks she needs to say and pull the faces she thinks she needs to pull to convey emotion that doesn't exist within.

Forced and insincere.

If this case highlights the importance of body language and saves a life or a mind, it's worth every second.

I've watched a lot of the trial in my downtime. I found the psychologists testimony about Amber incredibly interesting.

She says that Amber has histrionic borderline personality disorder. One thing she mentioned was a characteristic of her mimicking people to try and retain her status as the center of attention. If you watch the videos the very next day Amber has copied the psychologists hairstyle!

Shes clearly not all there. Sure, Johnny has his own issues. But they are personal demons that he's dealt with and continues to do so. But violent? No. I just don't buy that he abused her at all. Amber on the other hand. Her violence and behaviour match exactly what the psychologist said.

It's sad that this man is having to drain his fortune to clear his name. All a woman has to do is point a finger and your life is over.

The court of public opinion will save him though. Studios look at popularity metrics and when they see all the love and support he's getting from the public, thankfully he'll be OK.

You're forgetting the previous libel case in the UK. Depp not only lost it, he lost the appeal.

"High Court Justice Andrew Nicol ruled in November that allegations against Depp, made in a April 2018 article, were “substantially true.” The judge ruled that Depp, 57, assaulted Heard, 34, on a dozen occasions and put her in fear for her life three times."

"High Court Justice Andrew Nicol ruled in November that allegations against Depp, made in a April 2018 article, were “substantially true.” The judge ruled that Depp, 57, assaulted Heard, 34, on a dozen occasions and put her in fear for her life three times.""

Anybody who has listened to the audio tapes of Amber Heard taunting, goading, and shouting at Johnny Depp will know that she was never in fear of her life.

There are rumours circulating that the UK Judge’s son was employed by the owner of The Sun (not sure if that Is true) and that there was alledged witness tampering by Heard’s side, again not sure if that is true.

Her story keeps changing. She is heard on audio recordings admitting she hit him, there are photos of where she put out a cigarette on his face. She has reportedly beaten up her sister, her mother was (allegedly) terrified of her.

Jennifer Grey has stated on a tv chat show (after her previous comments were tried to be used against Johnny) that he was the best rebound a gal could have, Kate Moss was never hurt by Johnny and is likely to be a witness for him.

Ellen Barkin had a brief affair with him after being in a film. He dumped her. She didn’t like that. There are interviews from way back where he has stated this.

He isn’t perfect. He needs to sort himself out. However, his reputation has been destroyed by someone who claims he hit her, whereas so far the overwhelming evidence (eye witnesses, witness statements, audio and video recordings, medical notes, etc etc etc) prove that out of the two, AH is more likely to have been the aggressor.

And not only has she destroyed his career, she has been dining out on that fact for years and ingratiated herself with a movement that frankly, in my opinion, she has no right to be involved with.

She has also lied, on oath.

There is also an audio recording of her speaking to Johnny, upset, saying her lawyers made her do it. There is also a text history of a conversation with AH’s mum and JD where her mum is apologising to Johnny Depp and telling him that it wasn’t Amber, it was her lawyers, but he was not to say anything to Amber about it.

AH’s mum adored Johnny Depp. My mum turned to me and said if some bloke had hit me she certainly wouldn’t want anything to do with him again!

And I have said a few choice words about my exes in the past, but it doesn’t mean I wish them ill, they’ve just pissed me off in that moment of time.

Honestly, I can’t understand how someone can have taken into account everything in this latest case and still think she is a victim of domestic violence.

"He admits he is no angel, however this is purely about domestic abuse. In terms of this - it takes not genius to work out who is lying here

"

They've both abused each other. Representing Depp as the only one who has suffered is inaccurate. I cannot fathom how people will dismiss a High Court Judge and two Appeal Court Justices who saw all that evidence. It was a fucked up, toxic marriage and dragging into the limelight again (Depp's choice) serves no-one. Her mum adored him is not evidence that he's the saint people are representing him as. I am not team anyone.

I've been quite gripped watching the trial online which is unusual for me as I don't normally get involved in Celebrity stuff.

The one and only Celebrity trial I'd ever watched before this one was the Oscar Pistorius trial. There was no doubt Oscar was a full blown narcissist, the only emotion he ever displayed was clearly only reserved himself and not poor Reeva Steenkamp.

Amber Heard on the stand reminds me of Oscar Pistorius, over elaborating stories and looking for constant sympathy from jury. I feel so bad for Johnny Depp as his texts to Heard get read out to the jury, who can say they never texted crazy shit in anger ? The texts have provided no smoking guns in my opinion.

I haven't see any physical evidence which supports her claims she had her nose broken and much more worse. So I'm on team Depp.

I think the golden rule is, is never peer to much into your idol's or heroes personal lives because they may disappoint you. They're just mere mortals with problems just like ourselves. Undoubtedly act as they're entitled at times but it's Hollywood and different world to our own.

Johnny Depp may have drug and alcohol issues but that does not make him a domestic abuser, on the other hand listening to the tapes seems to support Depp was the placid one whilst being mentally tormented by Amber Heard.

Depps legal team and Depp seem relaxed which I think is a good look for them in front of the jury. I'm looking forward to watching Camille Vasquez and Benjamin Chew cross examine Heard.

Amber Heard is so unhinged and arrogant we could have a 'Colonel Jessup' moment for those who can remember the Iconic Tom Cruise movie A Few Good Men.

You want the truth, you cannot handle the truth.

Amber Heard must hate seeing Camille Vasquez interact with Depp.

The thing that bugs me is a man can retaliate and people say that he is as bad as his abuser...If it was a woman retaliating towards her male abuser people would be congratulating her.

Everyone has a break point and until we are in that position nobody should judge him

Absofuckinglutely.

I've done things that on their own make me sound like a proper abusive cunt, who shouldn't be allowed near people. Now, put those things into context, when there's the whole picture, with me backed into a corner and I mean literally, nowhere to escape to whilst I'm being headbutted, with my son in a room metres away and people would say my actions were justified.

I've been in a similar position, though being hit, kicked, my head scratched and bitten.

In front of her own (not mine) children too.

She was honestly punching me in the face whilst screaming ........ I fucking love you.

Years later, she found be again and remember our whole relationship very different, asking me why we separated, I was straight with her and she asked me why I bring that up now.

Crazy isn't gender specific.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

When the mudslinging is unsubstantiated judicial corruption, *someone* is on the back foot...

I know I don't have enough information to determine which of them is the victim of domestic abuse, if not both.

I am surprised that seems to put me in the minority.

No they haven’t. Not even slightly. Once it blows over they’ll both be back at it, especially Johnny.
