McDonalds sausage shape

Anybody and everybody who finds reason to complain about the un-sausage like shape of McDonalds sausage has clearly never been to Scotland.

At least the McDonalds round sausage fits into the round muffin.

I have never yet found a Scottish sausage sandwich served in a square bap / muffin / breadcake / teacake / bread roll / etc

I think even McDs call them sausage meat patties rather than sausages, don’t they? Or at least they used to. Anyway, I want one now but it’s 5.23pm. Damn you OP!

I don’t think I’ve ever heard it called a double sausage meat patty and egg McMuffin.

You’re right they’re called Sausage & Egg McMuffins ™? but the *description* says “A pork sausage patty, lightly seasoned with herbs, an egg and a slice of cheese, in a hot, toasted English muffin.”

Can I claim a score draw?

According to google traffic, if you leave home right now, it's gonna be breakfast time at McDonalds North Wales before you get here. Bank holiday and all that.

I have often asked for a Double sausage mcMuffin, but I have yet to ask for a Double sausage meat pattie mcMuffin.
