"Yes I am a fan but Meaning of Life should not have been made." I don’t know, it had some really funny moments in it but it was a bit of a mash up rather than a coherent story, kinda like a feature length episode of the series. Every sperm is sacred Sex education scene crimson permanent assurance Universe song This man is about to die The machine that goes “ping!” Classics all in their own right but not movie material I’d wager

"Not for me. It always seemed like a series of jokes that I wasn't in on. I knew a lot of people who loved it, some genuinely and some because they thought it was cool to like it. I think you need a certain sense of humour and a don't have it " Exactly this for me too. And I felt the same about the young ones.

"For me, Monty Python had a hit rate of maybe 30%. Some of it I found hysterical, some very clever, but the majority just left me cold. " You did have to sit through some shit sketch’s but when I good one came along I used to howl with laughter so well worth it. The films Holy Grail and Life of Brian where brilliant

"Appreciate humour is very individual but are you a fan Rewatched Life of Brian last night just to see if maybe I was not in the right mood first time I watched it But no realised its not for me " It helped it being on tv post pub closing... Some great stuff and also some horrendously absurd stuff. Brian was a favourite for a long time but I can't watch it all through any more. Don't you oppress me. You can't have babies... Where the foetus gonna gestate? Mary Whitehouse considered it blasphemous at the time... Can you imagine how it would be received now?

"Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed, A lovely little thinker But a bugger when he's pissed. Genius. " I swear that in sixth form, I got extra credit from my humanities teacher for being able to name multiple philosophers. I then got even more credits when I explained I knew them all from this song
