Jack Russell dogs live over twice as long as French bulldogs but female Jack Russell dogs live longer than male Jack Russell dogs.

Well I am interested in the parallel here. Human women tend to live longer than male humans. People speculated on reasons such as males having more dangerous jobs etc. Maybe that's just the way it is.

Vet told me that arthritis pain in a dogs and cats can give them nauseous feelings, so they lose they appetite as they get older. Kidney problems can be a real problem as well.
