Campbell/Bachelor's Cream of Chicken Soup!

When I am really poorly, I would make rice congee and have it with a dash of sesame oil, stock powder and some finely chopped spring onions, with an egg mixed in.

pot noodles all taste the same nowadays

I liked the additives.

Heinz tomato soup, with a splash of milk.

However, since last thursday, I have been eating anything that didnt move Im blooming starving!!!

Remember after having my little one, and couldn't eat for a few days, I ended up living on jacket potatoes with prawn cocktail or coleslaw. That's all I ate for over a month. Can still eat them now yum!!

"Home made soup and home made bread. None of that tinned stuff"
but when you're poorly, surely you can't be bothered in making stuff?

I made two big pans of food last week, one scouse and one chilli, and stuck them in the freezer, as I knew I was going into hospital. I love a good scouse and a good chilli, but, I knew in advance I was going to be out of action, hence stocking up, but say if you get struck by a cold or flu or worse what would you eat?

oh ffs, I'm going for another trip to the kitchen!

Can someone sow my mouth up pleeeeeeeeease!!!

You pretty much answered your own question. What freezers and bread machines were made for. But I have to say when it's a family member I do make the effort

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Packet chicken noodle soup. The dry stuff with the funny little squares of grey 'chicken'. I haven't had it for years but the salty taste always seemed to get through when nothing else would.

These days I just have whatever I am given unless I can't eat at all.
