No it doesn't. I don't have a great deal of it but if I accumulate a sum that isn't allocated to necessities I find I'm reluctant to spend it or there are so many things I'd like to buy with it that I end up buying nothing.

I’m trying to be better with my money. I’ve actually managed to save recently which is a big deal but everything is so expensive right now you have to live on the border of privation to hold onto cash

Absolutely it does its really strange because my family are really money motivated and like to have there bank above a certain amount but me.....

I hate seeing lots of money sat in the bank doing nothing when my fat ass could be getting a tan laid on a beach somewhere for 2weeks

No I'm quite sensible with money. I buy what I need, but do splurge for a good event or gig.

In the middle

No, I rarely spend money on myself, I was going to use my Christmas bonus to buy a piece of exercise equipment, yet here we are nearly in May and I still haven’t plucked up the courage to spend a lot of money on myself

Not often. An unexpected bonus will have me itching to splurge, but in the normal way of things I tend to live a pretty cheap life.

It’s interesting when I didn't have much I was always spending and wasting it on duff.

Now I’m mostly cautious and either save/invest it or haggle / shop around for ages

There’s the occasional splurge for my kids I just say fuck it get whatever you like , no limits, like in the jan sales they have half day to rinse me or on a nice family meal or a holiday I’ll set no limits but it’s not every week!

Some times but I am better than I used to be.

I don’t always buy the Lego I want straight away, or buy new games and toys as soon as they come out.

.

I'd normally say no but I've ordered a lot of items recently (I'm dreading returning them!)...most of the time I'm pretty good at saving, my fiancé is as well so we work very well together. That's not to say I don't like nice things occasionally but I'm quite savvy generally.

Normally yes, and both Mrs S and I have had a little splurge for a few weeks. But we’re firmly back in frugal mode now we’ve purchased a bunch of nice stuff.
