I think this year's entry is better than anything we sent for long time and 4th favourite by the bookies. Ukraine is predicted to win. I quite like Spain, Cyprus and Poland but not heard them all yet so that might change.

The reason it has such an endurance is because of what it is. Bizarre, eccentric and almost unbearable at times. I would never watch it if it was just another standard song contest. We have plenty of those. And I could never miss the voting. Just pure entertainment

It's a bit of a joke now sadly, it's fairly predictable who gives who points.

Us getting zero last time out was hilarious but predictable.

The Ukraine will probably win it this year

Hilarious, predictable and well-deserved. It was a lazy song that was shown up for what it was. This year's is really no better.

I hope Ukraine do win as it is a cracking song.

Some of the dogs this year are actually not too bad although I always like a few 'bad' ones for a laugh. Tbh, I used to prefer it when they were all in the original languages, quite traditional, a bit folklore, a bit of local dancing, that kind of stuff. I am not that keen when they all are in English and just like any other song. I like a bit of the local flavour which is what used to make it all so weirdly watchable.

Nope. Europe hates us, plus we always send someone terrible, and the song is even worse.

Why can't we ditch Eurovision and just do one with our friends in the world such as US, Canada Australia and our other friends.

I agree. I wouldn't have minded if the UK would make it to the top 10 or at least the top 20 but every year, we end up being at the bottom of the barrel so it's time we ditched this contest.

I now watched the summary of all forty and my list of top ones, not in any order, that are quite interesting and fit the euro brief too are:

Albania

Cyprus

Finland

Spain

France

Greece

Israel

UK

There are a few that could also win other categories in my opinion like

Narcisism - San Marino

Camp - Romania

Sexy - Spain

A bit nuff - Norway and quite a few others

Back to another era - Switzerland

It's all good fun and just over a week to go

One of the reasons people watch and enjoy it and fir many other flaws. Voting is part of it and massively entertaining. People who participate and the millions who watch it are and have always been aware of all that but its still good fun, admittedly low brow
