Thankfully not. I generally get one week in the year which fucks me on hayfever, no doubt that bad boy is still to come though.

It is driving me insane.

I take loratadine most days to combat it.

Today wasn't that bad a day, but I wake up feeling like I have a hangover and a sinus infection some days.

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters

I tend to get mine later on, around August. I also think mine is more mould spores rather than pollen, because mine tends to get worse when it rains whereas most peoples seem to improve when it rains…

Something over by the Thames affects me a lot. I think it's an early flowering bush with a musky smell.

Wearing masks has really reduced my seasonal allergies

I think the lack of traffic polluting the air has allowed the pollen and spores etc to move around better.

I'm supposed to be allergic to grass pollen (according to the official hospital prick test). But I've pushed lawn mowers and all that and have never sneezed.

I am allergic to dust and that includes bone dry compost, cotton and paper dust. This is all year round. I never take anything for it, apart from tissues.

the Spanish dust storm that, sprinkled car bonnets a few weeks ago, has a lot to answer for.

I had absolutely zero sympathy for hay fever sufferers, right up till I was 53.

Then I experienced it for myself. It’s fucking awful.

Luckily I am only affected by some very specific grass pollens and a single bog standard anti-histamine tablet works for me. I have total sympathy for those who aren’t so easily protected.

For years I've always had a "spring cold" for no reason. Like a bad throat infection. It wasn't until last year I really clocked that it could well be hay fever. This year it's been a proper one but I didn't start on the antihistamines in time.

I have suffered from hay fever since age five. Allergic to tree and grass pollen mainly . Normally I get very bad runny nose . This year it is eyes watering / itching and a bit of runny nose. Not sure why sudden change in symptoms.

Mine too!!

Apparently it's because the rain brings it back down towards where we are.

You can't win!!
