So this is a question for couples and women, and maybe the odd guy.

The opening message, do you prefer polite and enquiring or direct to the point?

Suggestive or direct?

The Facility

Polite.

It's never good to send 'hello slag, fancy a shag?' Nothing makes a vagina dry quicker than a message like that.

Straight to the point. Can’t be bothered with small chat over a website. Let’s meet for a drink. I’ll know more snout you and how I feel about you by the end of the 1st drink then I will 5 years messaging on here

Polite. They don't get very far if they're anything else.

Somewhere in Co. Down

Polite are my preference .

Straight to the point messages where people go into detail about what they want to do to me or visa versa or ones asking me to meet them just get deleted usually. They are a complete stranger why they think it would make me want to meet them is beyond me especially if they have read my profile .

Polite. I don’t want a message telling me what they think they can do to my wife. It’s cringey and chances are they couldn’t do it anyway.

Although...rhyming couplets could work?...

Respectful is 100% essential, which includes politeness. I'm OK with some suggestive contents but

'How's u, fuck now!' doesn't cut it.

Manchester (she/her)

Polite but not deferential.

Treat me like a person, not a cum bucket, but also not like nobility.

How about "Goddess, I worship thee"? Too much? #askingforafriend who might receive that kind of thing...

Politeness never hurts anyone. But you can also be direct in a flirty way without sounding like a sex pest.
