What is your favorite book or author, maybe a series by one perticular author or just one offs. I tend to read a lot of biographies and true stories but also some fiction and historical, quite a wide range.

Few i have recently read, Eric Clapton & Ronnie Wood's Biograpies.

Fiction James Herbert, Bernard Cornwell, Tess Gerritson, James Patterson, Kevin Lewis to name just a few.

if you like tess gerritson try the first two books by Mo Hayder ( Birdman and The Treatment ) ..I couldnt put them down !

Personally I don't usually like biographies, but Peter Kays is well worth a read

I used to be such a bookwork back in my teens and twenties, now I don't read that much and prefer factual books rather than novels, though am rather enjoying This Way To Paradise- Dancing On The tables by Willard Manus at the moment.

Story of o is a great book, Part 1 and 2.

enslaving anna by Giselle Lorimer is another good one.

Also like anything by Martina Cole, James patterson, Lesley pearse to name but few.

o and not forgetting the Eragon trilogy by Christopher Paolini

I sitting here having just finished yet another book tonight looking at my 3 bookcases thinking OMG I havent heard of half these writers!!

But I do like to read most things I have one bookcase dedicated to biographies and factual books - I think I have every book ever written on Marilyn Monroe!

I have one bookcase where hubby is allowed one shelf for his Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter books and to make him sound even worse he reads (I use the term lightly here you know!!) the Star Wars books?!?!?!

My other bookcase (which is taller than me - which to be honest isnt hard tho is it??) is full of my escapism books :

Kathy Reichs (the woman behind the tv series Bones)

Quentin Jardine

Sue Grafton

Jackie Collins

I think next time Im out buying books I will have a look for some of the authors mentioned here.

i have two tall bookcases floor to near celingin and a short bookcase and books in bathroom toliet and over the floor in places. i love books i wank over them nightly and touch them to get wet.

Ohh Kitty I didnt realise we were supposed to say about our Black Lace books hell I have millions of them thru my bedroom but only the "normal" books are in the living room!!

True stories also some fiction

Bernard Cornwell Sharpe stories, Allan Mallinson ( similar to the Sharpe books but better in my view ) at the moment reading a short story collection by Stephen King called Just after Sunset, he kinda talks in another language thoughbut not one of my favorites, just seeing if his short stories are any better. Jeffery Archer ( despite what your first thoughts might be ) he is a great writer, fast moving books.
