I didn't realise Virgin Care had taken over some nhs gp practices!! Absolutely shocking the way they're being run, despite all promises of a better service under a private company.

Thankfully my gp's surgery is still nhs led.

Has anybody's practice been taken over by VC, and is it an improvement or white elephant?

Yep terrible wasnt it ?

To be honest i think the nhs has gone in all but name really. The conservative and labour govts have seen to that. All the legislation is in place pretty much for it to be chopped up and sold to the highest bidder. I wish peeps would see that labour and the conservatives actually work together on things like this. Directed by big business and the banks.

GP hypocratic oath is first do no harm.

Virgins is whats the profit margin.

it wont be many decades before we have one giant corporation running everything. We are all only slaves at the end of the day.

As you say, the nhs will be fully privatised in time - and with that will come a similar system to Ireland and USA; people will need medical insurance - possibly a good thing, as so many people abuse the system
