European and English outlook on sex

I was thinking, what if there was a physical link between Europe and the UK. Then would we change mentally? I mean the Europeans are more open sexually than the English. When a European person chatts you up, their more direct, whereas the English are more subtle and Conservative.

A metaphor, you would never get an adult shop in a little English village (why the locals wouldn't have it). But you would in quaint little German village though. I was shocked at first, but then who am I to judge?

"I'm English and European. "

Where are you from?

I've been to France, Germany, Italy, the Scandinavian countries and Greece (I go to Greece every year. It's like a second home. Because I go for months).

One thing that Jayne and I have noticed is the different ways men are expected to approach women and couples in clubs UK vs EU.

In clubs we have visited in France / Belgium / Netherlands it's considered acceptable for a man to put his hand onto a non-erotic part of a woman's body ( say an arm or a lower thigh ) as a way of showing interest. Jayne's perfectly happy with this. If the woman is interested in the man she may take things further, if not she simply removes the hand gently from her person and that's the end of the interaction.

In clubs in the UK it seems that men simply lurk around waiting to be invited to join in - and may spend quite a while doing so before getting the message that they're not what the woman / couple is looking for.

Has anybody else noticed this?

Yes when I was in Sweden. A soft gentle stroke of my hand by a person there. It was very touching. I pulled away.

Fareham

Ringwood in the new forest is quaint. Butchers, bakers, candle shop etc. Right at the end was an adult sex shop run by a trans woman.

Delightful little place sadly now gone.

--We were all Britannic once, and few of us in the British Isles aren't both 'Celtic' and 'Viking' too.

If we had to call somewhere a 'Celtic country', I'd consider Britain to be one.

And the Normans were also clearly French! They spoke the language, and the Northern France Viking settlement was over 100 years before they invaded us. They pretty seamlessly became part of France again too. The Vikings didn't always rpe and pillage, they often interspersed.--
