In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I don't often get lost because I'm an over planner and I've got a decent sense of direction...

I do, however, usually fall down. So that's a whole different issue.

I find my way around quite easily. I covered pretty much all of the UK in my former job/s, driving 100’s sometimes 1000’s of miles per week. Back in the day (yes I’m that old) when you had to drive, read an A-Z, and eat your ginsters pasty, all in one movement.

On the tube it definitley helps to know exactly where you need to change, and then which line and direction you need too. There are plenty of signs everywhere telling which direction to go in, so as long as you know where you need to go you should be ok. Good luck! X

For any new places, certainly away from my locale, I do get a little lost even with the assistance of Google Maps (Google Maps isn't infallible).

For London then no: I'm pretty much cartographically confident.

I can totally understand that, was terrified of the tube when I 1st moved here. But if you do miss your stop its no big deal, just cross to the opposite platform at the next station and go back. My little bits of advice are: to avoid the rush hours if you can, and avoid changing at the really busy stations like kings cross and oxford circus, and walk down the platform to the front or back of the train-youll be more likely to get a seat and the platform will be less crowded. Yes. I have a terrible sense of direction. I had a meet with someone on Fab and went to the wrong hotel. I’ve driven back from York and ended up on my way to London instead of Wales.

I have to have directions or it could end in tears (mine!). I went to a Chemist on Saturday that I’ve been to before and ended up taking a wrong turn and had to use Google maps to get myself back on track.

In Nottingham as long as you can tell me where the nearest pub is to where we are meeting - then no problem! I can map it out in me head. That's how I used to do it before Google Maps..... But seriously, thank God for Google.

The irony is I no longer drink. In fact many years TBH. But I still like to map journeys by pub's if possible.

I have zero sense of direction but I get on very well on public transport because I plan the route in advance.

When I used to have meetings across London never once did I get on the wrong train or get off at the wrong stop. The only time I really got lost was walking through one of the parks. Learned my lesson and always walked around them after that so I could stay on named roads.
